Zetco Nut & Tail Ball Valves for Continuous Flow Water Heaters
Zetco Valves renowned Nut & Tail ball valves are designed for the installation of continuous flow water heaters. Zetco pioneered this innovative valve and kit assembly and have the following Australian Patent Numbers 2006200845 and 2012208986. They reduce installation time and provide a fixed length enabling water heaters to be retro fitted without having to adjust the length of copper pipes.
This type of water heater has grown steadily in popularity over the last decade replacing the traditional storage heaters. They require an isolation valve for the inlet water and inlet gas coming into the system and a fitting for the outlet water. All valves and fittings have a loose nut enabling the water heater to be easily disconnected and replaced.
Zetco’s Nut & Tail are available as single valves or in kits which includes the water & gas valve and the water fitting which also has a design registration. There are numerous connections available including Press-fit, Flared, Olive compression and Conetite compression. The size range includes many combinations of 20mm, 15mm and 15X20mm in both water and gas. The handles are coloured green for water and yellow for gas to make the identification of the valves simple and easy. All valves and kits are WaterMark certified to AS 5830.1 and AGA approved to AS 4617.
